The David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village, CT will host an online Zoom artist talk with Marsha Altemus and Roger McKee in a one-hour conversation with Hunt ArtWall curator Garth Kobal on Saturday February 19th at 3PM.  Marsha, who lives in Falls Village and New Jersey, will discuss how, in retirement, she finds inspiration and challenges exploring art making, working in pastel and colored pencil after a 25-year career as a custom hand-weaver.   Roger, an art instructor at Salisbury School, will discuss the inspirations for his surrealistic visions of nature that feature in his assemblage work, as well as his preoccupation with boatbuilding, printmaking, and artist’s books.  Register at HuntLibrary.org or on the library’s Facebook page.  Both artists’ work is currently on display at the library through March 11 and can be seen in their entirety in an online gallery at HuntLibrary.org/art-wall.  For more information, call the library at 860-824-7424 or visit huntlibrary.org.   63 Main Street, Falls Village, CT 06031. Hours: Tues & Thurs 10-5, Fri 3-7, Sat 10-1.
