Had to re-do some of the poured stuff, but don't want to go too far before all the 'compartments' are at least considered more fully. I like where the cigar box section is going
Bits and Pieces
I've been collecting old book spines from libraries and the transfer station. What would a 'toolkit' be without books? Some titles are serendipitously appropriate; others may have to be painted over.

Work in Progress: 10 Artists/10 Objects
This is an invitational show to be held at the Hotchkiss School, in Lakeville, CT. Deadline for completion of the work is January 5, 2018, which seems like a long time away, but I'm sure it will rush by. The idea behind the show is that each artist will chose an item in the Hotchkiss School collection and respond to it in some way. I have chosen an art student's 'tool kit', with paints and brushes and mediums.
I've decided to build a personal toolbox, which displays as a tryptich when open but is modeled after a wall-hung tool cabinet.
Bare-bones tool box. Testing fit of upper section.
Lower section of middle carcase. Topographic levels, with poured acrylic.
